With less than 32 foots, 1.80 meters headroom, very comfy cruise fittings, an asymmetric spinnaker easy to set, a sail plan without overlapping, the J 97 E is definitely a polyvalent boat.
The cockpit is equipped with full seats that hold your back in position. A tiller and the retractable bowsprit with the asymmetric spinnaker allow the biggest performances without requiring a large and skilled crew.
The VCG deep keel permits a perfect stability upwind. The inside fittings are achieved to navigate comfortably with 1 or 2 couples, here is the composition: a saloon with 2 sofas, the kitchen and the chart table, 5 berths including an aft cabin. A large storage astern is reachable from the cockpit.
The J 97 E is the start of the J cruise/race range. It follows the J 122 and J 109.
