The pure and contemporary design combines the natural colours of wood (walnut finishes), and the visible stainless steel elements such as handrails and fittings, with the natural light entering through the portholes, lending an ambiance that is warm, welcoming and modern to the boat's living spaces.
The L-shaped galley is on the starboard side, with synthetic resin worksurfaces, plentiful storage space and a large refrigeration volume of 150 L. It is situated opposite the forward-facing chart table which is on the port side.
The spacious forward saloon has a foldable table which holds the bar area. The freshwater storage tanks of 170 L, which are located beneath the benches, can be supplemented by the addition of an optional extra tank.
The J-122 E has kept all the characteristics of a high-performance racer on deck, with the option of teak hardwood fittings with a meticulous finish, plus a high-quality integrated sound system.
The nonslip feature included in the boat's construction enables safe and secure movement aboard.
Furthermore, circulation via the companionways is optimised thanks to an alteration to the shrouds, thus freeing up the passageway.
The aerodynamic cross mast fitted to the internal hull structure allows the J-122 E all the resiliance expected of a high-seas cruiser.
Manoeuvrability is the priority in the well-positioned cockpit, with the helm station and its large-diameter central steering wheel as always enabling an extremely precise control of the boat. The comprehensive deck equipment is fitted so as to make rigging adjustments effortless.
The new J-122 E is without doubt the stunning fusion of a high-performance cruiser-racer with a luxurious standard of on-board comfort enabling long-distance voyages to be a real consideration.
